From the Dallas Morning News:
[Mark Mulder's agent Greg] Clifton said the Indians and Cardinals have stepped up their interest lately, with back-and-forth proposals and plenty of dialogue. Clifton has also sent Arizona a counterproposal and as of Wednesday was waiting to hear back from them. Mulder, 29, is on his honeymoon, but he checks in with Clifton a few times a day to see how things are going.
